About this position
Pay Rate: $7.50-$9.00 per hour
Marco's Pizza in Deer Park is a brand new location! We are currently seeking crew members for immediate hire. If you are a positive, motivated individual with a strong work ethic and you enjoy satisfying customer needs by delivering a high quality product and have experience in a fast-paced environment, we want you to join our team! We are hiring immediately and look forward to meeting qualified candidates.
Responsibilities:
· Learn to use and be comfortable operating technology and restaurant equipment
· Follow verbal and written instructions
· Adhere to all safety procedures
· Prepare and cook pizza and other foods that require only a short preparation time.
· Take orders from customers and serve patrons at the counters or tables
· Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
· Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
· Verify food meets quality and quantity expectations
· Accurately and efficiently count money and make change
· Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking
· Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared
· Cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously
· Clean, stock and restock workstations and display cases
· Complete all other duties as assigned
· Must have good communication skills
· Must display maturity, patience and good people skills
· Must have basic computer and math skills
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds
