Desired Skills: System Testing

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze requirements and design test plans and test cases

Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing

Execute both manual and automated test cases

Report bugs clearly using tools such as Jira or Bugzilla

Work closely with developers to track defects and verify fixes

Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Document test results and prepare test summary reports

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand product goals and ensure test coverage

Continuously improve QA processes and suggest enhancements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

1–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance

Strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies

Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Mantis)

Basic understanding of databases and SQL

Familiarity with automated testing tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Cypress)

Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail

Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

ISTQB or equivalent QA certification

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks

Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
