Now Hiring: Shipping Coordinator

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Compensation: $20 / Hourly

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, processing and recording a company's outgoing deliveries including merchandise, stock, materials and supplies in a warehouse environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Receive incoming orders
Assigns orders to warehouse pickers
Monitors staging area to ensure all picked orders are complete
Notify purchasing department of any inventory shortages
Monitor warehouse entrance for will call orders
Direct delivery drivers to proper receiving bays
Create load sheets for the packers/shippers
Create routing sheets for delivery drivers
Ensures warehouse goals are met
Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
Packs warehouse orders as necessary
Operates scanners so that the proper order is picked, packed, shipped and inventory is managed accurately
Performs other general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED RequiredAbility to Read, Analyze, and Interpret Documents such as Safety Rules, Operating Instructions, Procedures and Common Technical Manuals, and Purchase OrdersPrevious Experience Working in a Warehouse PreferredExperience Working with an RF Scanner PreferredStrong Attention to Detail; Ability to Lift Heavy Objects; Ability to Stay on Feet for Long Periods of TimePositive Attitude; Self-Motivated; Safety ConsciousAbility to Work on Multiple Tasks in a Fast-Paced EnvironmentGreat Communication Skills; Ability to Work Well on a Team but Be Self-Motivated and Independent at TimesStrong computer skills required
