Telephone Answering Service (TAS) Job SummaryResponsible for answering the phone, greeting callers, establishing the reason for calling, and resolving issues by contacting the appropriate person that can help the customer. Agents must be willing to work a full-time flexible schedule Monday through Friday 8 am to 6 pm with some weekends, and all holidays. Primary ResponsibilitiesAct as a human answering service during business hours for a variety of contracts. Relay verbal messages. Document client issues and requests with clarity and precision Handling Inbound Calls and Making Outbound Calls Taking Candy Orders Handling and documenting emergency inbound calls (LIHEAP & CARS) Complete call logs Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required: Excellent customer service skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask – speak on the phone and enter information into computer Willingness to work flexible hours Show strong initiative, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and resolve problems Superior interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette. Ability to work independently and as a team member
