We’re looking for an experienced Tax Accountant to take a client leadership role in our Lake Oswego or Beaverton office. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned CPA who enjoys managing client relationships, mentoring talented professionals, and helping shape the direction of a growing firm.
This position is focused primarily on leading and serving an existing, well-established client base. While business development is always welcomed, it is not a core expectation of this role.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary advisor for an established portfolio of clients, providing high-quality tax compliance, planning, and advisory services.
- Work closely with firm leadership to implement best practices and contribute to firmwide initiatives.
- Engage in hands-on, billable client work while maintaining oversight of client service delivery.
- Support staff development through coaching and performance management.
- Lead and mentor a talented team of tax and accounting professionals, helping to foster a positive, growth-oriented culture.
What We’re Looking For
- CPA designation required (active and in good standing).
- 10+ years of public accounting or professional tax experience, including review, leadership or management responsibilities.
- Strong technical expertise across individual, business, and entity tax.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships and lead a high-performing team.
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to be part of a firm that values innovation, integrity, and balance.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Base salary: $125,000 – $185,000
- Bonus potential and possible equity participation
- Comprehensive benefits package including employer-paid healthcare, paid time off, and 401(k) match
Location
This position is based in either our Lake Oswego, OR, Beaverton, OR, or Portland, OR office.
