As a newly independent, Private Equity–backed organization, we are modernizing our infrastructure, implementing new systems (SAP, MES, cybersecurity), and building a strong operational foundation for continued growth.
We are seeking an Analytical Chemist, reporting to the R&D Chief Engineer. We are looking for a highly motivated chemist with training in organic synthesis to join our R&D team. The Associate Chemist will contribute to the design, execution, and analysis of laboratory experiments supporting multiple development projects. The ideal candidate is skilled in hands-on bench chemistry—including air sensitive techniques—and eager to expand their experience across polymer, small molecule, and analytical workflows.
What You’ll Do
- Perform laboratory synthesis using air-sensitive and moisture-sensitive techniques (e.g., glovebox, Schlenk line).
- Conduct polymerization reactions (controlled radical, step-growth, or other relevant methods).
- Execute small-molecule organic synthesis from milligram to multigram scale.
- Characterize products using analytical instrumentation including - NMR (¹H/¹³C), HPLC, GPC/SEC, GC/MS, FTIR
- Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and documentation.
- Analyze data and summarize results for project teams.
- Support multiple concurrent projects with attention to timelines and priorities.
- Follow all safety, waste-handling, and laboratory best practices.
What You Bring
Required
