The Referral Sales Representative operates under WinChoice’s Referral Trifecta sales model, which requires consistent performance across three core functions: lead generation, in-home sales execution, and referral development. This role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle while supporting the growth and sustainability of the referral division. 

The position requires a balance of self-generated activity, structured sales execution, and customer relationship management to drive both immediate revenue and long-term pipeline growth. 

Referral Trifecta Model 

The Referral Trifecta defines the core expectations of this role: 

  • Find – Generate new opportunities through canvassing and other self-generated prospecting activities 
  • Close – Convert assigned and self-generated in-home appointments using WinChoice’s established sales process 
  • Build – Develop long-term customer relationships that consistently produce referrals and repeat opportunities 

Performance in this role is evaluated across all three areas of the Referral Trifecta. 

Key Responsibilities 

Lead Generation 

  • Identify new sales opportunities through canvassing and other self-generated activities 
  • Develop and maintain a personal pipeline of prospective customers 
  • Represent the company professionally in residential neighborhoods 

Sales Execution 

  • Conduct in-home sales appointments with homeowners 
  • Present WinChoice products and services using established sales processes 
  • Accurately assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions 
  • Close sales in accordance with company pricing, policies, and procedures 

   Referral Development  

  • Maintain relationships with existing customers to encourage referral generation 
  • Consistently request and track referrals from customers 
  • Support long-term pipeline growth through customer follow-up 
Requirements:


  • Sales experience preferred but not required 
  • Canvassing or door-to-door experience preferred 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively 
  • Comfort working in a performance-based compensation environment 
  • Coachability and willingness to follow established processes
