Northern Nurseries, a leading provider of nursery and landscaping supplies in the Northeast, is seeking a dedicated and energetic full-time Customer Service and Labor Associate to join our team from March to November. Our company prides itself on offering a comprehensive shopping experience for landscapers and homeowners alike, featuring the largest selection of trees, evergreens, flowering shrubs, perennials, and hardscape products. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our nursery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting plants, nursery goods, and landscaping supplies, providing knowledgeable and friendly service
- Maintain and organize inventory of plants, hardscape materials, and related products
- Load and unload deliveries, ensuring proper handling and storage of goods
- Support the setup and maintenance of displays and outdoor areas
- Provide basic information on nursery products, landscape lighting, irrigation, and soil conditioners
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the nursery and work areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient daily operations

Requirements:Skills and Qualifications:
- Energetic, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
- Previous experience in a nursery, garden center, landscaping, or related environment preferred
- Knowledge of nursery goods, hardscape products, landscape lighting, and irrigation systems is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50lbs plus) and perform physical tasks regularly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license is preferred
