Position Summary:
The Server is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests in alignment with the Yacht Club’s standards of hospitality and professionalism. This role ensures a welcoming, attentive, and memorable dining experience while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and timely table service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, daily features, and beverage offerings
- Anticipate member needs and deliver proactive service
- Coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Process payments accurately and handle member accounts properly
- Uphold club service standards, appearance guidelines, and policies
Qualifications:
- Previous serving experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and club events
