SUMMARY: This position, based in Hong Kong or Taiwan, is dedicated to strengthening partnerships and increasing our penetration and market share from partners in East & North Asia, including Preferred Accounts, Tour Operators, Retail Agencies, Consumers and Media at the lowest possible cost of sale. Exceed annual goals and objectives by utilizing a structured and disciplined approach allowing us to maximize our investment and spend with each of our partners. This position also requires working closely with our International Managing Director and Asia Team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Handles East & North Asia (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan & South Korea) sales and marketing strategies, budget preparation and allocation, revenue reports and updates.
- Responsible for increasing East & North Asia and demand.
- Attends industry events and trade shows.
- Develops and maintains current partnership with East & North Asian agencies to achieve revenue growth.
- Identifies list of preferred partners and issues agreements to support our growth goal and investment with each of them.
- Directs the development and implementation of East & North Asian account’s sales/marketing plans for each of our Preferred Partners to ensure they are in line with our strategy and investment.
- Creates and monitors East & North Asia’s operations and cooperative budgets to ensure adherence to our approved budgets and maintains the Company’s projected costs while increasing demand.
- Develops and implements specialized sales and training programs for all of our East & North Asia Preferred Partners.
- Creates monthly reports and communicates the monthly results to each of our Preferred Partners to ensure they are aligned with our tracking and results.
- Manages and controls Quality of Revenue and Cost of Sale to ensure we are maximizing our investments with each of our Travel Partners in East & North Asia
- Continues to build strong relationships and partnerships with each of our Preferred Partners to ensure we are top of mind and their River Cruise Company of choice.
- Analyses the penetration by product and offers with each of our Preferred Partners to identify future opportunities based on our needs.
- Coordinates travel schedule to various East & North Asia countries to ensure maximum efficiency and exposure.
- Works closely with National Accounts to coordinate our sales and marketing plans and budgets pertaining to Virtuoso in East & North Asia.
- Represents AmaWaterways in East & North Asia at various events, presentations, conferences, and meetings not only with our travel partners, but with consumers and the local media.
- Conducts webinars and training sessions as needed throughout the year throughout v.
- Monitors partner websites to ensure the integrity of our brand guidelines.
- Understands consumer needs and requirements throughout East & North Asia.
- Stays informed of competitor information in the markets and stays updated on trends within the industry.
- Strengthens relationships and achieves growth with accounts through regular contact and informative updates with respect to their productivity and progress; offers assistance when appropriate to assist in achievement of their goals.
- Works closely with tactical marketing to provide agencies with content (copy, images, etc.) marketing collateral, e-blasts, and flyers.
- Provides training opportunities for agents through webinars, client presentations, in-office trainings, and product information sessions, escorts familiarization trips for travel agents as necessary.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must speak and be able to write in English and Mandarin. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportion to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
