About this position
Corporate Controller
We are seeking an operationally-minded Corporate Controller to lead our finance team through
a period of strategic expansion. This role serves as an operational leader responsible
for elevating automation, structure, accuracy, and professionalism across the accounting and
finance functions. You will partner closely with the CFO while working collaboratively with both
in-office and remote team members. During the first three months, you will receive structured
onboarding and knowledge transfer from the existing Controller to ensure a smooth transition
into full leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with both in-office and remote staff to build greater automation, training, and
efficiency across accounting workflows, including supporting future team expansion and
role definition.
- Oversee daily accounting operations and monthly close processes, ensuring accuracy,
timeliness, and compliance.
- Support key financial and operational initiatives that occur every six months by providing
accurate information, insights, and planning support—focusing not only on the books, but
on how the business uses the financial data.
- Collaborate directly with the CFO to identify opportunities for improvement, solve
operational bottlenecks, and strengthen financial systems.
- Drive process improvements across the full accounting system, including SOP development,
push-down training, and enhancements through technology and remote worker
optimization.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience in healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) or exposure to medical billing
workflows is strongly preferred (additional interview questions will assess this).
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change, build structure, and implement scalable
processes.
- High emotional intelligence with a calm, professional, drama-free leadership style.
- Strong technical skills, including comfort with medical billing software, advanced Excel, and
financial systems.
- This is an in-office position located at our headquarters.
- Ability to learn directly from the existing Controller and report to them during the first
three months of onboarding to ensure continuity and transition of institutional knowledge.
Why Join Us?

repurposing existing spend to create a more capable, efficient, and educated workforce—this
position serves as the leader driving that transformation.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
