Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions, update invoices, and maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems.
- Assist with bank reconciliations, vendor statement reconciliations and identifying discrepancies.
- Analyze accounting records, including bank statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to company accounting policies and procedures.
- Gather documentation, research data, and support tax filing preparation.
- Monitor and update QuickBooks journal entries.
- Perform clerical duties by maintaining files and organizing documents.
- Answer phone inquiries, direct calls and oversee mail deliveries.
- Perform special projects and other functions assigned by Supervisor
Preferred Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Degree
- Excellent time – management and organization skills required
- Able to work independently and with a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
