Founded in 2011 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, K9s For Warriors is committed to saving lives at both ends of the leash by primarily rescuing dogs and pairing them with Veterans in need. In order to continue the great work we’re doing, we’re looking to add a Systems Administrator to our amazing team!
Role and Responsibilities
Under the general direction and supervision of the Data Manager, the Systems Administrator will build and manage detail-oriented and proactive solutions to own and optimize K9s For Warrior’s Salesforce platform. In this role, the Systems Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure Salesforce supports business goals, scales with growth, and delivers great internal and external user experiences. The System Administrator will be the go-to expert for system configuration, data integrity, user enablement, and continuous improvement.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce and related tools Abides by K9s’ data policies, business processes, and continuous improvement mindset Manage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, and security settingsConfigure and maintain workflows, flows, validation rules, and automationCustomize objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and reportsMonitor data quality and perform regular data maintenance and cleanupBuild and maintain dashboards and reports to support business insightsSupport system integrations and coordinate with vendors or developers as neededGather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into scalable solutionsProvide user training, documentation, and day-to-day Salesforce supportStay current on Salesforce releases and recommend improvements

Qualifications and Education Requirements
2+ years of hands-on experience administering SalesforceStrong understanding of Salesforce data model, security, and automation toolsExperience with Flow (required), Workflow Rules, and basic declarative customizationAbility to analyze business processes and propose effective Salesforce solutionsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsSalesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills
Experience with Nonprofit Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience CloudFamiliarity with integrations (APIs, third-party tools, ETL platforms)Experience supporting a growing or multi-team Salesforce orgAdditional Salesforce certifications (Advanced Admin, Platform App Build)
