Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in our systems and databases. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and update data into internal databases and systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Review data for errors or inconsistencies and correct any incompatibilities.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
- Generate reports and perform data quality checks as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Respond to data-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and data entry software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with administrative duties and office equipment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CRM systems or database management tools.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis or reporting tools.
