About the role
Title: Assimilation and Member Care Coordinator
Overview
This role is a full-time role at Christ Covenant. The purpose of this position is to manage the assimilation and healthy church membership processes. This position will report to the Executive Pastor.
What you'll do
- Facilitate the assimilation and integration of prospective members into Christ Covenant Membership at the Armour Campus
- Coordinate First Sunday and Host training
- Recruit hosts for each First Sunday
- Schedule pastoral follow-up meetings from First Sunday
- Reach out with appropriate communication to all First Sunday attendees
- Schedule Baptisms and pre-service baptism meetings for pending members and children
- Assign new members to a parish and an elder for both campuses
- Organize New Member Orientation once a quarter
- Support and uphold accountability structures that foster healthy, Christ-centered membership
- Maintain Planning Center (database) by keeping meticulous records of member information for Armour Campus
- Organize measurable data to show which members are healthy and which are in need of care to become healthy members
- Organize and provide helpful data to Elders to use in relating to parish members during meetings
- Provide an ongoing assessment on how we can improve our assimilation process
- Coordinate all tasks for Members Meeting
- Gather all important information and updates across all ministries to be shared at Members Meeting
- Draft and be responsible for all items to be included in the Members Meeting Agenda
- Compile Members Meeting packet
- Help facilitate the quarterly Members Meeting
- Assist in managing the Benevolence Ministry
- Assist the Member Care deacons and Member Engagement Team with benevolence requests
- Request and coordinate pastoral follow-up as needed
Qualifications
- Education: College degree from an accredited institution is highly preferred.
- Experience: Demonstrating a high level of competency in managing databases, spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), and administrative tasks is highly preferred.
