Cytoprep Laboratory Assistant

Reliance Pathology Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Cytoprep Laboratory Assistant to support our cytology department. This position is responsible for receiving and preparing specimens, performing stains, and assisting with slide preparation for cytotechnologist review.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and accession cytology specimens.
• Perform gross description and assign case numbers.
• Prepare, stain, and cover-slip slides.
• Assist with cell block preparation from fluids and FNAs.
• Maintain equipment logs, clean work areas, and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the cytotechnologist to ensure stain quality.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
