About this position
Responsible for supervising, scheduling and directing a crew of Maintenance Technicians in a diverse, fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment with the objectives of optimizing equipment uptime while maintaining a safe workplace environment, maintaining our facility to provide a neat and professional appearance, and optimizing repair and maintenance expenditures.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Implement and enforce safety guidelines.
- Perform administrative tasks such as: employee performance reviews, time and attendance reports, review/approve timecards and time off requests, and ensuring adequate team coverage is always available.
- Responsible for reviewing employees’ time and attendance daily.
- Foster a well-trained and motivated staff and establish and maintain a teamwork mentality
- Oversee maintenance staff, providing coaching and counselling, and escalating concerns to OPEX and HR.
- Provide training, work direction and guidance while performing work in one or more skilled trades.
- Establish and maintain effective business relationships across multiple functions.
- Assist in scheduling work and determining needs for equipment and supplies.
- Communicate with Supervisors regarding work completed referring unusual technical or personnel issues to Operations Manager.
- Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable federal, State, and local codes, regulations and requirements.
- Perform skilled maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Maintain various records related to labor, materials and work orders.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Ability to train and provide direction to assigned personnel in the performance of a wide variety of duties related to ITC equipment.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 10 years Maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
5 years in a supervisory position.
Post-secondary education and/or a technical trade certificate is preferred.
Prior CMMS experience is strongly preferred.
Must be able to comply with ITC Manufacturing's Drug and Alcohol policy.
