Description:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and executing all people related functions at the local facility. The manager will work closely with senior leadership and partner with HR/EHS staff to implement strategic goals, drive change, and support the operations team. The role will report to the Vice President of Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the CARE values of the organization.
- Collaborate with the VP of HR and broad HR team to assure alignment and drive initiatives.
- Actively coach and participate in employee relations matters and recommend appropriate actions.
- Lead and implement strategies to align with talent initiatives and workforce planning.
- In conjunction with talent acquisition, manage, facilitate, and support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding process of new team members.
- Analyze key metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent management and effective engagement.
- Utilize data driven insights to drive KPI’s and make strategic adjustments.
- Coordinate with the HR team to ensure consistent execution of HR policies.
- Ensure compliance with employment-related laws and advise managers on policy matters, best practices, and recommend changes as needed.
- Proactively drive positive employee engagement and support the CARE initiatives of the organization.
- Actively maintain and support HRIS.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field with 5 years of progressive HR experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are considered.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
- PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
