WHO YOU ARE
The Property Rehab Technician is expected to perform all the essential duties timely and accurately, in accordance with all applicable company policies, procedures, processes and practices and compliant with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The essential duties below are not intended to be all-inclusive, but rather indicative to the duties normally associated with the job.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Follow, promote and enforce safety policies, practices and procedures to ensure safe working conditions and behaviors are maintained. Assist with safety investigations and corrective actions related to safety hazards and/or incidents.
Finish Carpentry & Unit Turns
- Install, repair and replace interior trim, baseboards, door and window casings, crown molding and other finish elements.
- Hang, adjust and repair interior and exterior doors, including hardware installation.
- Repair or replace cabinets, shelving, vanities and countertops, as needed.
- Perform drywall patching, installation and finishing.
- Perform framing repairs and minor carpentry, as necessary.
- Install and repair flooring transitions, thresholds and stair components, as applicable.
- Complete punch-list items to ensure projects are complete to Owner’s satisfaction and apartments are move-in ready.
Renovation & Repair Support
- Perform carpentry and general trades work on renovation projects, including unit upgrades and common-area improvements.
- Identify repair and replacement requirements and communicate these needs to the Lead Property Rehab Technician.
- Maintain consistency and quality across multiple projects.
Team & Property Support
- Work collaboratively with team members and vendors to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area in occupied spaces and construction job sites.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines and company policies.
Non-Essential Job Functions
- Perform work, within the scope of the Property Rehab Technician role, which may be otherwise performed by a contracted service vendor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
