Cybersecurity Analyst - Franklin Mountain Management Full-Time

Job Summary:

The Cybersecurity Analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining the security and integrity of an organization's information systems. This position involves identifying and mitigating threats, analyzing security incidents, and implementing robust security measures to safeguard data.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Threat Detection and Analysis: Monitor network traffic and systems for suspicious activity, analyze potential threats, and assess vulnerabilities.
  • Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans, investigate security breaches, and provide timely resolutions to mitigate damages.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify security weaknesses and recommend improvements.
  • Security Policies and Procedures: Create and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Security Training: Educate staff on security best practices and protocols to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, risk analyses, and compliance audits for management review.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or related roles.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for identifying potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey security information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and creatively to resolve security challenges.
