Description:

A ticket window operator is a front-line customer service representative who manages in-person, game-day ticket sales, will-call distribution, and issue resolution. Operating from a box office, they utilize ticketing software to process transactions, answer inquiries, and ensure accurate seating and data entry in a fast-paced environment.  


They typically work indoors in a booth, but the role requires strong interpersonal skills to handle diverse, sometimes demanding fans, ensuring a smooth entry experience. 

Requirements:

 Key Responsibilities and Skills:

-Acting as the first point of contact, they provide information, resolve complaints, and assist with seat selection.

-Handling cash and credit card payments securely for tickets, including upgrades and exchanges.

-Using computerized ticketing systems to sell tickets and manage will-call.

-Understanding venue layout, seating, and ticket types to advise customers accurately.

-Processing transactions quickly and accurately, particularly right before game time.

-Maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor, even during stressful, busy, or high-traffic periods.
