KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Rotate through different tasks in the production process as needed.
- Assemble cables, battery packs, and electro-mechanical components.
- Follow and uphold the organization's quality standards and work instructions.
- Engage in ongoing training, including cross-training in various production areas.
- Use lead-free solder on PC boards.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to engineers and cell leads for continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned beyond the primary responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPENTENCIES:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English effectively during work hours.
- Strong attention to detail in following work instructions and comprehending technical documents.
- Basic computer skills.
- Fundamental knowledge of hand tools and measuring devices.
- Experience with labeling and documentation of components and assemblies
- Experience in cable, harness, or battery assembly (strongly preferred)
- Adaptability to changes in the workplace environment and processes.
- Capability to maintain a steady work pace while producing high-quality results.
- Ability to understand and apply basic technical concepts.
- Effective time management to meet deadlines and complete tasks efficiently.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position operates in a manufacturing environment and may involve some or all of the following:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a workstation while performing assembly tasks, with the ability to stand for extended periods during assembly line work.
- Repetitive tasks requiring hand and wrist motions, such as assembling small parts, using tools, and operating machinery.
- Fine motor skills for accurate and efficient assembly.
- Frequent reaching, grasping, pushing, or pulling of production materials.
- Ability to lift and carry; battery components, tools, or assembled units weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Standing, bending, or kneeling to access equipment, perform assessments, operate machinery, and handle delicate components.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and potential contact with battery chemicals or materials used in the assembly process.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, and lab coats as per safety protocols.
