Hembree Bell Law is growing rapidly. We are seeking a high-energy, highly organized Business Development & Referral Partner Manager to serve as the face of our company in the Austin community.


This is an in-office role with significant time spent in the field. You will be building real relationships while also managing the backend systems that ensure every referral partner is nurtured, tracked, and developed strategically. The primary duty of this role is to secure signed partnership agreements and generate revenue through referral and affiliate relationships. This role customarily and regularly performs work outside of the employer’s place of business in direct sales and partnership development activities. Administrative and CRM tasks are incidental to and in support of sales activities.

Compensation starting at $90,000+, depending on experience, + attractive BONUS compensation you will be excited about. Benefits, mentorship, and growth opportunities included.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do

Relationship Development

  • Build and maintain strong referral relationships with therapists, physicians, realtors, financial advisors, churches, business owners, and community leaders
  • Personally meet with partners for coffees, lunches, dinners, events, and strategic check-ins
  • Deliver thoughtful gifts and create meaningful touchpoints
  • Represent Hembree Bell Law at networking events and community gatherings
  • Expand affiliate partnerships
  • Secure signed referral and affiliate partnership agreements
  • Negotiate partnership terms and commitments that result in active referral relationships
  • Drive measurable outcomes, including signed engagement agreements and paid program enrollments
  • Customarily and regularly engage in in-person meetings outside of the office to develop and close referral partnerships
  • Convert community relationships into revenue-generating partnerships

Systems & Tracking

  • Own CRM management for all referral partners
  • Accurately input, tag, and track new referral relationships
  • Monitor referral activity and ensure consistent follow-up
  • Build structured follow-up workflows to ensure no opportunity is lost
  • Maintain reporting dashboards on referral source performance
  • Identify gaps in partner engagement and proactively address them
  • Track signed agreements and revenue generated from referral partnerships
  • Maintain documentation of partnership commitments and performance metrics
  • Ensure CRM and administrative tracking functions are performed in support of and incidental to securing and maintaining referral agreements

Growth Execution

  • Help design, build, and optimize affiliate programs
  • Identify new partnership opportunities and execute outreach strategy
  • Work closely with leadership and marketing to align referral strategy with firm growth goals
  • Take full responsibility for follow-through — nothing falls through the cracks
  • Be accountable for measurable growth tied to referral partner performance
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase signed referral agreements and revenue outcomes
  • Regularly report on partnership conversion rates and revenue impact
Qualifications:

Required Experience

  • Experience in business development, referral marketing, partnership growth, or sales
  • Proficiency using a CRM to manage pipelines and partner tracking
  • Demonstrated ability to track referral performance and report on results
  • Demonstrated experience securing signed agreements or closing partnership opportunities
  • Proven ability to generate measurable revenue or client growth through referral relationships

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience building or scaling affiliate programs
  • Experience developing structured referral partner strategies
  • Existing relationships in Austin’s professional or family-focused communities
  • Experience negotiating formal partnership or referral agreements
