RN Ambulatory Care Facility Administrator

Location: San Antonio, TX

Position Summary

The RN Ambulatory Care Facility Administrator is responsible for the full operational oversight of an ambulatory care facility. This role is highly hands-on and operational, focused on daily facility operations, staff leadership, financial performance, and delivering an exceptional patient experience. The Administrator partners closely with clinical leadership to ensure quality care, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

  

Core Responsibilities

Operations & Leadership

  • Oversee daily operations of the      ambulatory care facility to ensure high-quality care, patient safety, and      operational excellence
  • Collaborate with clinical      leadership to support effective care delivery and performance outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with applicable      healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies
  • Maintain a professional,      welcoming environment, including oversight of facility appearance,      cleanliness, and safety
  • Lead by example by maintaining      firsthand knowledge of daily operations and regularly engaging in floor      activities

Patient Experience & Customer Service

  • Ensure a consistently positive      experience for patients, families, and visitors
  • Promote a service-oriented      culture that emphasizes respect, responsiveness, and professionalism
  • Support continuous improvement of      workflows and processes to enhance the patient experience

Financial & Business Management

  • Maintain responsibility for      facility financial performance, including:
    • Supporting revenue growth       initiatives
    • Monitoring and controlling       non-personnel expenses
  • Analyze staffing levels and      productivity to ensure efficiency
  • Oversee purchasing, inventory      management, and vendor relationships
  • Approve invoices and ensure      timely vendor payments
  • Ensure accurate timekeeping and      payroll processes

Growth & Community Engagement

  • Support growth initiatives      through patient engagement, outreach, and retention strategies
  • Collaborate with leadership to      expand service utilization and market presence
  • Monitor patient retention and      satisfaction trends and implement improvement plans as needed

Staffing, Talent & Performance Management

  • Ensure appropriate staffing      levels aligned with patient volume and operational needs
  • Recruit, hire, coach, and retain      high-performing team members aligned with organizational values
  • Oversee onboarding and training      processes for new team members
  • Provide regular coaching,      feedback, and performance management
  • Delegate responsibilities      effectively and ensure accountability
  • Manage schedules to support      operational coverage

Reporting, Analytics & Continuous Improvement

  • Review operational, financial,      staffing, and quality metrics
  • Provide regular performance      updates to leadership
  • Identify opportunities for      improvement and lead corrective action initiatives
  • Support and implement strategic      initiatives that enhance facility performance

Strategic Leadership

  • Champion innovation and process      improvement initiatives
  • Support organizational goals      through effective execution of operational and clinical strategies

  

Compensation

Salary: $75,000 annually + DOE


Requirements:

  Requirements

  • RN candidates:
    • Must hold an unencumbered       Registered Nurse license in Texas
  • Strong written and verbal      communication skills
  • Ability to lead teams and      collaborate across departments
  • Positive, energetic, and      service-oriented leadership style
  • Strong organizational and      time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and      Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple      priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and      process-improvement skills
  • Ability to resolve employee,      patient, and operational issues effectively
  • Current Basic Life Support      (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Position is considered safety      sensitive




Salary Information

$75000 - $75000 Annual Salary
