Job Summary: You will provide trouble shooting service to customers & technicians in the automatic door industry. You will conduct troubleshooting via phone, email, & other platforms. You will be provided the training & resources needed to troubleshoot for your customers through online & data base resources, hands on & technical training. You will be part of a technical support team who have years of experience that you will have complete access to. This is very much a team environment.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for the door industry
- Provide customer service via telephone, email, and other platforms
- Diagnose problems and provide solutions at the source
- Provide valuable input at the door when and where customers need support
- Interact as telephone support with customers providing parts sales and technical support
- Perform parts order entry, issue sales return orders and a variety of other data entry duties
- Fill out a tech call log for every call taken to help with knowledge gathering for our customers & our company.
- Other duties as assigned by tech support supervisor

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years’ experience in the automatic door industry required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
