Regional Sales Representative
Position Objective
This position is responsible for the overall performance of the location, including but not limited to profitability, improvements, service, facility management, employee supervision, and equipment and fleet management.
Job Responsibilities:
Revenue and Market Growth
- Proactively engage with current and potential customers to identify new business opportunities.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales and revenue targets through strategic planning and execution.
- Actively build relationships with customers to increase brand awareness and market share.
- Regularly travel within the assigned territory to develop leads, nurture relationships, and close deals.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify areas for growth and differentiation.
- Develop and execute strategies to target new markets and verticals.
Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring exceptional service and follow-up.
- Partner closely with internal teams to align sales initiatives with operational capabilities.
- Identify customer needs and deliver solutions that drive satisfaction and retention.
- Provide ongoing technical support and education to customers regarding company products and services.
- Resolve customer concerns or challenges with urgency and professionalism.
Sales Process & Execution
- Generate a pipeline of qualified leads through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and product demonstrations to potential customers.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and customer communications in the company's CRM.
- Collaborate with marketing to execute campaigns, promotions, and events that drive lead generation.
- Track and analyze sales metrics to identify improvement opportunities and ensure accountability.
Collaboration & Internal Engagement
- Work closely with the service and parts teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Provide feedback to leadership on customer needs, product enhancements, and market trends.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and strategy planning with the broader team.
- Support cross-functional projects that enhance customer experience and drive revenue growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, preferably in the heavy equipment or industrial industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and meet insurance eligibility requirements.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the assigned region.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Travel
- > 20% of time. Travel as required by business needs determined by both parties.
The individual in this position will interact regularly with employees and managers in other departments and locations at the company. Receiving and reacting to directions other than from your immediate supervisor will be required periodically. Conversely, there will also be time when the person in this position must give direction to others.
