This is a full-time onsite role at Kings River Packing, LP headquarters office in Sanger, CA.

Kings River Packing is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and execute domestic and international shipments in support of customer, operational, and export requirements. In this role, you will manage transportation activities from load planning through final delivery, ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards, and maintain accurate shipment documentation and system records.

This position works closely with Sales, Operations, carriers, freight forwarders, and service providers to ensure efficient freight movement, cost control, and high service performance in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.


What You'll Do: 

  • Plan and coordinate domestic and international transportation to retail, wholesale, internal, and export destinations.
  • Dispatch loads through the ERP system and ensure compliance with customer delivery appointments.
  • Maintain accurate transportation records, including load creation, carrier assignments, status updates, and documentation.
  • Monitor shipments and coordinate responses to rejections, service failures, delays, or reroutes.
  • Provide daily updates to Sales on delivery status, on-time performance (OTD), and exceptions.
  • Assist in negotiating freight rates for program, spot freight, reroutes, and new lanes in alignment with RFQ parameters.
  • Coordinate export shipments in partnership with the Export Sales Manager and internal stakeholders.
  • Schedule international air and ocean freight bookings with forwarders, carriers, and consignees.
  • Submit AES filings and generate shipping notifications for customers; track all international shipments.
  • Prepare and manage required export and domestic documentation (Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, phytosanitary certificates, etc.).
  • Monitor shipment budgets and support cost control efforts.
  • Communicate billing adjustments or deductions to ensure accurate invoice processing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, operational sites, carriers, and service providers.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.


Requirements:

 

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of logistics experience; 2+ years of export experience highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of DOT and FMC regulations highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be available outside of normal business hours to meet customer and sales team needs.

Physical Demand and Abilities: 

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
