Are you a detail-oriented, proactive paralegal with a passion for real estate and business transactions? We’re looking for a talented Real Estate and Transaction Paralegal to join our fast-paced, client-focused legal team in Arlington Heights, IL!
What You Will Do:
· Support attorneys in all phases of commercial and residential real estate transactions, from contract to closing, selling to buying
· Draft and review real estate documents including purchase agreements, leases, deeds, and closing documents
· Manage due diligence processes, title and survey review, and coordinate closings
· Assist with corporate and transactional matters, including entity formation, UCC filings, and corporate records
· Communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, and other third parties
· Maintain organized files and track critical deadlines
Requirements
What We Are Looking For:
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a real estate and/or transactional paralegal
· Strong knowledge of real estate closings, title work, and escrow procedures
· Experience with commercial real estate and corporate transactions a plus
· Excellent organizational, writing, communication, and multitasking skills
· Able to work independently and has an unwavering attention to detail and client service.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal management software preferred
· ABA Certification or associate degree in paralegal studies (bachelor’s degree is preferred)
