Job Responsibilities 

  • Diagnose, repair, and install residential electrical systems and components.
  • Perform electrical service calls including troubleshooting wiring, panels, outlets, lighting, and breakers.
  • Present repair and upgrade options to homeowners and recommend safe, code-compliant solutions.
  • Complete electrical installations such as panel upgrades, circuits, lighting, EV chargers, and surge protection.
  • Ensure all work meets local electrical codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations.
  • Maintain accurate job documentation, estimates, and customer notes in company software.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and provide clear explanations of services and options.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment while protecting customer property.
  • Collaborate with dispatch and management to ensure efficient scheduling and job completion.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with electrical systems, products, and safety practices.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of residential electrical service experience.
  • Valid electrical license or apprentice license.
  • Strong knowledge of residential wiring, panels, troubleshooting, and electrical codes.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor conditions.
  • Organized, safety-focused, and comfortable using job management software.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing technical and professional training.
