Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and install residential electrical systems and components.
- Perform electrical service calls including troubleshooting wiring, panels, outlets, lighting, and breakers.
- Present repair and upgrade options to homeowners and recommend safe, code-compliant solutions.
- Complete electrical installations such as panel upgrades, circuits, lighting, EV chargers, and surge protection.
- Ensure all work meets local electrical codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations.
- Maintain accurate job documentation, estimates, and customer notes in company software.
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide clear explanations of services and options.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment while protecting customer property.
- Collaborate with dispatch and management to ensure efficient scheduling and job completion.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with electrical systems, products, and safety practices.
- Other job duties as assigned.
- 2+ years of residential electrical service experience.
- Valid electrical license or apprentice license.
- Strong knowledge of residential wiring, panels, troubleshooting, and electrical codes.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor conditions.
- Organized, safety-focused, and comfortable using job management software.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing technical and professional training.
