Position Overview:
The Senior Tax Manager – Partner Track oversees complex tax engagements, ensures high technical accuracy, manages client relationships, develops staff, and plays a key role in business development, positioning the candidate for partnership consideration within 2–3 years.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide final technical review on tax returns and related documents across the client base.
- Research complex tax issues and develop effective recommendations.
- Remain current on tax law changes and evolving accounting procedures.
- Plan, schedule, and manage client engagements to ensure timely completion.
- Communicate proactively with clients to support their best interests and long-term relationships.
- Direct and support staff by setting objectives, managing budgets, and fostering a positive, high-performance environment.
- Oversee quality control and evaluate personnel performance.
- Assign, track, and manage tasks and projects for staff and supervisors.
- Mentor and develop team members in alignment with firm growth goals.
- Build and maintain an internal and external network to support business development and new client opportunities.
- Manage billing, collections, WIP monitoring, aging, and write-downs.
- Participate in and help facilitate internal CPE and firm training initiatives.

Qualifications:
- CPA certification required.
- Minimum of ten years of public accounting experience.
- Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities.
- Strong decision-making skills with initiative and independent judgment.
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and effective under pressure.
- Proven ability to manage a heavy workload with competing priorities.
