Join Our Team as a Mechanical Technician – Light DieselAre you a skilled mechanic with a passion for diesel vehicles and heavy equipment? Pacific Ag Carriers is looking for a Mechanical Technician – Light Diesel to help maintain and service our fleet of diesel semi-trucks and large logistical equipment. Based out of our Hermiston, Oregon shop, this full-time position plays a key role in ensuring our fleet stays reliable, safe, and on the road.

What You’ll DoPerform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel semi-trucks, trailers, and related equipment

Diagnose mechanical issues and efficiently perform necessary repairs

Inspect, clean, lubricate, and service vehicle components

Install replacement parts and assist with fleet modifications

Keep shop tools and areas organized and stocked

Document work completed and communicate with management on fleet needs

Occasionally support field operations across NE Oregon and SE Washington

What We’re Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED required; technical training a plus

1–3 months of mechanical experience, or equivalent education/training

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required(Class A CDL with doubles endorsement preferred)

Knowledge of diesel and gas vehicle systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics

Skilled in troubleshooting and using hand/power tools

Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Physical RequirementsFrequent standing, bending, climbing, and manual tasks

Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.

Monday–Saturday - day shift mostly, Split Days Off: Sunday + a choice of Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Some evenings, weekends, and holidays could be required based on business need.
40+ hours per week.

$24.0 - $27.0 Hourly Wage
