Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the operational efficiency and safety of facilities and machinery by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical systems, and executing repairs.

Essential Duties:

  • Monitor, maintain, and perform standard repairs and maintenance on production equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, hydraulics, process pumps, boilers, chillers, and other assigned general maintenance duties.
  • Assess and resolve a wide range of on-site maintenance issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on company-owned tools and equipment.
  • Read, interpret, and implement work orders.
  • Acquire the necessary materials to complete repairs and work orders.
  • Document equipment requirements and maintain appropriate records of work performed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

 Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 
  • Must be able to use hands and fingers, talk, listen, and speak clearly.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
