Bonding Mill Operator -2nd shift

A great job and great future awaits you at Engineered Materials Solutions.  We are seeking skilled Bonding Mill Operators to join our team.  This position requires a hand-on individual who can work in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary: Process material through the bonding mill by following defined processes for the manufacture of multi-layer clad materials.

Responsibilities: 

• Perform set-up of the mill and cleaning of the line.
• Identify and correct areas of deficiency prior to the start up of the mill and while running.
• Process material through the bonding mill by following defined processes and procedures.
• Check material in accordance with process sheet and assure thickness tolerance and surface quality of the material meets specified requirements.
• Use hand tools and hand held measuring instruments.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Maintain acceptable level of housekeeping order and cleanliness in area.
• Maintain production records and make data entries into computer systems.
• Wear all required PPE at all times.
• Other duties as required

 Education and Experience:

• High School or Equivalency Diploma preferred
• Basic Shop Math
• Ability to read and understand written instructions in English
• Ability to use hand held measurement instruments
• Experience operating continuous metal strip processing equipment preferred

Physical Demands:

• Heavy lifting up to 35 lbs. 
• Standing up to 90% of time
