We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Facilities Coordinator to help maintain our building systems, oversee home turnovers, and support the overall functionality and appearance of our community.
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position (7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.), with required overtime and participation in after-hours calls to respond to emergencies, including snow removal.

What You’ll Do:
As Facilities Coordinator, you are responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community and ensuring all homes and shared spaces remain in excellent condition. Your responsibilities include:
• Leading and coordinating home turnovers, ensuring residences are move-in ready, completed on schedule, and meet OceanView quality standards.
• Inspecting buildings, fire protection systems, and common areas to detect and eliminate safety hazards.
• Performing monthly fire extinguisher and exit light testing to meet Fire Marshal standards.
• Handling daily work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Performing routine maintenance on building interiors and exteriors.
• Coordinating vendors and contractors for repairs outside the scope of routine maintenance.
• Performing plumbing repairs and installations (faucets, pipes, hot water tanks, toilets, disposals, dishwashers).
• Performing electrical repairs and installations (fixtures, ballasts, ceiling fans, smoke detectors, breakers, zone valves).
• Troubleshooting heating systems and replacing thermostats and heat zone valves.
• Completing drywall repair and moderate carpentry work.
• Diagnosing equipment issues, replacing parts, and performing preventative maintenance.
• Using hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Responding to emergency and unscheduled repair needs, including snow removal.
• Maintaining clean, safe work areas and complying with OSHA safety standards.
• Providing exceptional customer service to residents while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Minimum of three years of experience performing similar maintenance functions.
• Demonstrated strong mechanical skills required.
• Moderate carpentry skills and working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and heating systems.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in environments with noise, vibration, fumes, and moving mechanical parts.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, kneel, crawl, and work actively throughout the day.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
• Willingness to take after-hours calls and work overtime when required.
• A positive, professional attitude and ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
