About this position
Are you skilled in accounting and financial operations, with a keen eye for detail? Were looking for an Assistant Business Manager to support the financial health of our site. In this role, youll manage day-to-day business office functions, oversee reporting and compliance, and ensure smooth operations that directly support our staff and the individuals we serve.
What Youll Do
- Oversee
accounting functions including cash control, funds disbursement, accounts
receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
- Prepare
and analyze monthly financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for the
site.
- Ensure
accurate bank deposits, reconciliations, and fund management (petty cash,
commissary, and patient welfare).
- Support
and supervise business office staff with training and guidance.
- Cross-train
in accounts payable, payroll, billing, and purchasing to provide coverage
when needed.
- Maintain
fixed asset records, tagging new assets and updating inventory records.
- Serve
as acting Business Manager during absences to ensure site operations
remain uninterrupted.
- Ensure
compliance with all company, client, and accreditation financial policies.
What Were Looking For
Education
- Bachelors
degree in business administration or related discipline (required).
Experience
- 3
years of experience in a financial or related role (required).
- Supervisory
experience and working knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
(required).
- Experience
with accounting software packages and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Suite (required).
