Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Blend Technicians to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and efficiency of our polymer production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Weighing and preparing raw materials accurately according to specifications.
- Operating and monitoring equipment to drain reactor vessels.
- Filtering and ensuring the quality of finished goods.
- Packaging finished polymer with detailed attention to safety and standards.
- Regularly lifting materials up to 50 pounds.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Employees will train on 1st shift for approximately 45 days before moving to 2nd or 3rd shift.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good basic math skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift.
- Must be able to wear a full-face respirator mask.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to bend, stoop, push/pull, and climb stairs.
- Completion of Predictive Index assessment.
