Required Experience

  • Possess demonstrated operational and/or programmatic experience with maritime signals, sensor, and surveillance systems, with prior field or fleet support experience enabling effective staffing, coordination, and execution of senior-level DoD or Service headquarters actions.

  • 10 years of relevant professional experience supporting complex programs, task orders, or senior-level organizations.

  • Demonstrated senior-level subject matter expertise supporting complex programs and task orders across multiple functional areas.
  • Advanced technical knowledge and analytical capability across highly specialized applications and complex operational environments.
  • Proven experience conducting high-level functional systems analysis, including system design, integration, documentation, training, and implementation support.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist senior leadership in the development and promulgation of strategy, plans, and policy for organizational operations, activities, and investments across multiple lines of effort.
  • Experience supporting all phases of program or capability development, with emphasis on planning, analysis, integration, documentation, training, and senior-level briefings.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and coordinating staff packages, including time-sensitive requirements, for senior leader review and approval.
  • Ability to produce, coordinate, and disseminate annual, monthly, and weekly reports, briefings, and other products detailing organizational operations, activities, and investments for congressional and senior executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated capacity to support a high operational tempo, producing and coordinating reports, briefs, or related products.
  • Experience reviewing, tracking, and monitoring the status of action items, activities, and deliverables using enterprise correspondence and task management systems.
  • Ability to provide technical advice, guidance, and strategic insight for the improvement, modification, and re-engineering of business processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience providing multi-disciplinary program and operational analysis in support of SES-led or equivalent senior executive staff directorates.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting oversight, strategic planning, coordination, and policy development for sensitive national security programs involving the DoW and U.S. Government stakeholders.
  • Experience developing and integrating staff packages and coordinating technical mission efforts across the DoW, Intelligence Community, and Defense enterprise.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze intelligence-related activities against the National Defense Strategy.
  • Experience developing or supporting data analytic tools, metrics, and specialized dashboards to inform senior leader decision-making.

Responsibilities:

 

SANCORP is seeking a Staff Officer SME IV to provide Administrative, Analytic, Scientific, Information Technology and Subject Matter Expertise Support Services in direct support to Research, Development, Test & Evaluation Activities within Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)). The following are examples of responsibilities: 

  • Assist leadership in the development and promulgation of strategy, plans, and policy for OUSW(I&S) operations, activities, and investments across all lines of effort on a daily basis. 
  • Develop and coordinate approximately six OSD staff packages a week, including for time-sensitive requirements, for Senior Leader support and approval. 
  • Produce and coordinate annual, monthly, and weekly reports, briefings and other products that detail OUSW(I&S) related operations, activities, and investments and disseminate, following Government approval, for Congressional and Senior Executive Branch officials. This effort will require no more than ten reports, briefs etc. per week. 
  • Review and monitor the status of action items, activities, and products using the CATMS and JSAP System on a daily basis.
