Job Description

Responsibilities

In area of specialty, the Nurse Clinician acts as a clinician, educator, consultant, researcher and leader relevant to the needs of patient and family members, nursing personnel and the healthcare system. The Nurse Clinician serves as a clinical resource and expert in area of specialty and communicates needs and coordinates services among other members of the health care team in order to ensure total quality patient care and improved patient outcomes. The Nurse Clinician demonstrates knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice, clinical competency and professional development and utilizes the Swanson Theory of Caring and patient/family centered care as the foundation for his/her nursing practice.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Three years nursing
  • Associate Degree
  • Registered Nurse

Desired:
  • Bachelor Degree
