Schedule: May vary but typically Monday-Friday Travel: Requires 50-75% 

Position Type: Full-Time 

Job Description: Responsible for providing overall onsite management for construction and/or maintenance of telecommunication towers. 

Requirements:

Superintendent

  • Supervise crew leads and hold crew accountable for quality, cleanliness and efficiency of assigned sited. 
  • Participate in site walks with clients and resolve all questions regarding Scope of Work as needed. 
  • Act as a liaison between the company and subcontractors, crew leads and technicians to make sure the project is completed to customer specifications. 
  • Review all service tickets for their area and determine if any special access is needed and/or equipment. (lifts, cranes, badges, etc.)
  • Assist in ordering materials for each job as needed.
  • Communicate ticket needs to crew lead, schedule manpower and start date.
  • Assist Service Techs in developing a work plan to organize tasks and site.
  • Perform onsite quality and safety audits.
  • Make site visits to oversee progress, assist tech and crew as needed.
  • Make sure all test equipment is working and being taken care of
  • Manage shop location, including fleet, equipment, and shop maintenance. 
  • Schedule and maintain and service vehicle needs (if branch office)
  • Supervise Service Techs and Top Hands
  • Keep track of and return all customer assets (antennas, radio heads, etc.)
  • Mentor and Coach newly placed Service Techs and Top Hands
  • Provide bi-annual performance reviews techs.

Requirements: Employees will need to be able to perform the following: 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Minimum 3-5 years telecom construction and/or maintenance experience
  • Experience in a leadership role preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills — both verbal and written 
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Ability to manage time effectively. 
  • Great organizational skills
  • Approachable by employees at all levels

Educational Development and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, project management or equivalent experience 

Physical, Mental, and Visual Effort: 

  • Continuous speaking, hearing and visual effort.
  • Requires standing, walking, and lifting frequently.
  • Continuous mental and visual concentration requiring attention to detail and accuracy.

Working Conditions:

  • Subject to outdoor (hot/cold) extremes, noise, wind, etc.


Salary Information

$80000.00 - $95000.00 Annual Salary
