About this position
Description:
- Greet all guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using the restaurant reservation system
- Coordinate seating to ensure balanced service flow and optimal table turns
- Communicate clearly with servers, bartenders, and management regarding guest needs and timing
- Answer guest questions regarding the menu, hours, and general restaurant information
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entrance area
- Assist with guest recovery and special requests as needed
- Uphold Sirena and The Georgian service standards at all times
Qualifications
- Previous host or front-of-house experience preferred, upscale or high-volume dining a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask and remain composed during peak service periods
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for hospitality and guest service
- Strong verbal communication and guest engagement skills
- Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using reservation systems and basic computer functions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining service standards
- Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support service staff and management
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed
