The Cultural Arts Program Administrative Assistant is a valued member of the JCC professional staff and part of the Jewish Arts, Culture & Israel Engagement team. Serving as the lead administrative support for all departmental programs, this role is essential to the smooth operation and continued growth of our arts and education initiatives. This individual contributes meaningfully to the success of our diverse and dynamic programming, helping bring creative and educational experiences to life for our community.

All programs are designed to inform, inspire, and strengthen Jewish culture and values, as we work together to continually shape the meaning, expression, and experience of Jewish community and cultural life.
Responsibilities:
Provide full administrative support and manage day-to-day administrative operations of a growing cultural arts department including but not limited to:
- Report all financials
- Register students
- Act as a liaison between members and program staff
- Coordinate event calendar
- Strong computer skills (Constant Contact, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Accrisoft)
- Create and schedule School of Dance classes
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of all aspects of our arts and education programs, including festivals, classes, workshops, and special events.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop innovative and engaging programming.
- Assist with logistics, including scheduling, equipment rentals, and volunteer coordination.
- Assist with program implementation, manage participant lists, and track attendance
- Other duties may be assigned
Community Engagement:
- Develop rapport and positive relationships with JCC members, committee members, program participants, staff and community leaders.
- Support lay leaders in their roles within the arts and education programs
- Attend and actively participate in JCC events and outreach initiatives.
Administrative Support:
- Assist with budget tracking and reporting.
- Manage administrative tasks, including data entry, correspondence, and required paperwork.

- Education/Experience: Experience and a passion for working with cultural arts organizations, highly organized administrative skills, great telephone/customer relations skills, computer skills, print and electronic marketing experience, e-marketing, social networking and communications skills.
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of MS Office (Word, EXCEL, Outlook); Publisher; Power Point
