About this position
Description:
- Assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email with orders, questions, and product availability
- Enter orders, invoices, and payments using POS and internal systems
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on plants, trees, and landscape materials
- Suggest appropriate substitutions when specific products are unavailable
- Coordinate with production team, delivery, and inventory teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
- Handle basic scheduling, dispatch communication, and order updates
- Maintain a professional, helpful, and solution-oriented customer experience
- Prior customer service experience required (nursery, landscaping, building materials, or related fields preferred)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with POS systems and basic computer software
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy, seasonal environment
- Professional attitude with a hands-on, team-oriented mindset
