Description:
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Screens patients according to policies.
- Evaluates patients and develops appropriate plan of treatment.
- Under a physicians order, provides evaluation and direct patient treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
- Contributes to the interdisciplinary team meeting/process.
- Consults with and trains patients, families and caregivers.
- Maintains productivity expectations on an ongoing basis.
- Documents treatment according to companies’ clinical documentation system on a timely basis.
- Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, caregivers, team members and supervisor
- Promotes positive customer relations.
- Demonstrates ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field.
- Participates in quality improvement activities.
- Exhibits courtesy, compassion and respect to patients, families, care givers, administrators and other team members.
- Delivers services in compliance with the policies and procedures, national professional standards, state practice acts where applicable, and current accepted state of the art practice.

Education:
- Bachelor's (Required)
Experience:
- Speech therapist: 1 year (Required)
- Speech-Language Pathologists: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- MA Speech therapy License (Required)
Willingness to travel:
- 25% (Preferred)
