  • We handle projects from small-scale maintenance to large, complex restorations — serving private clients, federal and institutional contracts across the Washington DC Metro and Greater Richmond Metro regions.

Our Mission & Approach

At UBG, we believe building is more than construction — it’s preservation, stewardship, and craftsmanship. We commit to:

  • Quality & Craftsmanship: Utilizing master brick and stone masons and, when needed, custom-fabricated tools to ensure historic accuracy and structural integrity.

  • Safety: Prioritizing safety throughout planning and execution to protect our team, building occupants, and the public.

  • Client Service & Reliability: Delivering every project with attention to detail, transparency, and a commitment to client satisfaction — whether it’s a minor repair or a major restoration.

  • Preservation & Respect for History: Honoring the heritage and architectural significance of historic buildings while ensuring their long-term structural soundness and usability.
