Material Handler/Forklift Operator (2nd Shift Outdoor)

Location: Pacific Junction, IA

Shift: 2nd Shift — 3:00 PM–1:30 AM

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays (8–10 hour days)

Pay Rate: $21/hour

Environment: Indoor & outdoor work in all weather conditions

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Forklift Operator / Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations in Pacific Junction, IA. This position requires versatility, attention to safety, and the ability to perform physical tasks in a fast‑paced environment. As we move into peak season, candidates should expect the potential for 20+ hours of overtime per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a large AWD forklift to move finished goods from production to storage
• Pick and stage orders for shipment
• Load and unload trucks
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate documentation
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and production areas (sweeping, shoveling, lifting)
• Conduct quality checks and complete required paperwork
• Assist with general housekeeping and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Willingness to work extended hours and overtime during peak season
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
