As our People and Culture Partner in NZ, you will be the "boots on the ground" for our fast growing R&D facility. Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, you will bridge the gap between global strategy and local execution, ensuring our team of engineers and support people have the environment, leadership, and support they need to build the future of uncrewed vehicles.
You will be a crucial partner and coach to our leaders; your work will be focused around driving a culture of high performance and innovation, whilst ensuring our people are supported to do their best work. You will be both strategic and hands-on, and thrive in a startup to high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities Coach R&D senior leadership team and team leads, supporting them to manage high performing teams. Develop local, tailored engagement initiatives that resonate with our team members. Drive onboarding program to ensure new hires are integrated into the environment and culture from day one. Serve as the subject matter expert on NZ employment regulations. Continue to build the HR foundations in line with global HR strategy. Partner with the Global Talent Acquisition Lead to support the NZ recruitment strategy. Lead the continuous performance management process and grow a culture of feedback. The Ideal Profile 5+ years in HR/People Operations, ideally within a high-growth environment. Deep knowledge of the New Zealand employment landscape. Comfortable with ambiguity and are happy to "roll up your sleeves" on admin while simultaneously designing and implementing scaling strategies.
