Job Type: Full Time - Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:30PM

Job Location: Knoxville, TN (Main Office Located at UT Medical Center Campus)

What You’ll Do:

As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive and welcoming experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients warmly and checking them in promptly
  • Helping patients complete necessary forms for the electronic health record (EHR) and billing
  • Updating demographic and insurance information, verifying eligibility, and collecting co-pays
  • Ensuring smooth patient flow through efficient front-office processing
  • Answering questions related to registration or billing
  • Directing medical inquiries to the appropriate clinical staff
  • Scheduling patients with the appropriate provider
  • Scanning and uploading documents into the EHR
  • Performing additional administrative duties as needed

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • 6 months to 1 year of prior medical office experience
  • A positive, professional, and patient-focused attitude
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
