About this position
Summary:
The Total Rewards Officer (TRO) oversees strategy and execution in all areas of Total Rewards including compliance, data & analytics, employee health and benefits, and compensation structures. The TRO designs a comprehensive strategy that aligns with the mission, values and strategic direction of ENB. The TRO will partner with segment leaders across the Human Resources division, business leaders, and internal stakeholders to design a comprehensive program that delivers on a desirable employee experience. The TRO ensures all segment programs, processes and policies are executed in a compliant, efficient and comprehensive.
Essential Functions:

- Recommends, develops, and implements compensation and benefits programs that support ENB’s overall business strategy and helps attract and retain quality talent.
- Provide strategic consulting and cross-functional support. Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to deliver technical guidance on compensation and benefits matters and provide consultative support on job design, salary planning, and workforce strategies.
- Provides strategic long-range planning and vision for compensation and benefit programs/practices.
- Oversee governance and vendor management for the Total Rewards segment. Ensure accurate documentation, audit readiness, and contract negotiations for all vendors and third-party service providers while maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
- Designs, implements, administers, and communicates all of the organization’s compensation and benefit programs. Engages and works with outside consultants as appropriate.
- Manages annual compensation review (merit) process.
- Oversees annual pay equity analysis with third party vendor engagement. Makes applicable pay adjustment recommendations to CHRO as a result of analysis.
- Manages short and long-term incentive and bonus programs for eligible employees.
- Manages stock allocation in alignment with applicable programs and employment agreements.
- Manages executive compensation and benefit programs, to include short-term incentive programs, long-term incentive programs, and executive benefit programs.
- Provides research, expertise, and on-going evaluation of all benefits programs and vendor effectiveness to assess cost savings, process improvements, and legal requirements to remain competitive and in compliance with all health and welfare programs.
- Make recommendations and implement changes to ENB’s total reward programs. Investigate new benefit programs, improve existing programs, and provides data orientated analytics on the effectiveness of current and/or future offerings.
- Provide strategic direction on leave management programs, rewards and recognition programs and ancillary benefit structures.
- Oversee payroll and tax compliance for the enterprise.
- Oversee and approve monthly reconciliation of applicable benefit accounts.
- Oversee the development of the annualized total rewards budget and adhere to the approved budget in alignment with internal controls, policy and/or procedures.
- Oversee position architecture strategy, ensure an optimized job description repository and ensure HRIS remains updated and validated.
- Optimize HRIS systems to meet workforce requirements creating opportunities for automation and reduction of manual processes.
- Oversee division strategy for reporting and analytics, data storyboards, workforce planning data and KPI management.
- Engage with the Compensation Committee to obtain applicable approvals.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for Total Rewards programs.
- Act as the Human Resources division point of contact for auditors. Coordinate the distribution of audit requests and facilitate division communications and auditor response in partnership with the CHRO.

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience required.
- SHRM or HRCI certification strongly preferred. CCP strongly preferred.
- Banking experience is preferred.
- Proficient HRIS data management skill required, previous experience within ADP WorkforceNow is strongly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of state and federal employment law.
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects and functions.
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information.
Supervisory Requirements:
This position oversees the Total Rewards segment staff.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional work environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, monitors, mouse, keyboard, phones, printers, scanners, photocopiers, filing cabinets, calculator, and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Flexibility of schedule to meet business needs is required.
