JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
Payroll and Compliance Coordinator is responsible for weekly processing of payroll, including benefits and unions as applicable. In addition, the administration and monitoring of corporate credit cards and primary responsibility for coordinating travel.

Essential Functions
- Prepare and process payroll for all employees on a weekly schedule
- Weekly unions and certified payroll
- Assist with benefits administration
- Research and resolve billing and payroll discrepancies
- Credit card administration
- Assist in booking employee travel accommodations within company guidelines
- Assist with the month-end close
- Assist with the preparation of W-2s, 1099s, or other end-of-year tax forms
- Assists with annual Financial and Regulatory Audits
- Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Complies with all of Pipe View America's policies and procedures
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 2 to 5 years of payroll experience is preferred.
- Experience in unions and certified payroll preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with software such as QuickBooks required.
- Experience with Paylocity Payroll or equivalent is a plus.
- High level of proficiency using MS Excel and the MS Office suite is required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required.
- Ability to analyze data for accuracy and reasonableness is required.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is required.
- Able to understand work load and appropriately manage time.
- Highly organized and ability to prioritize multiple tasks is required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and listening and interpersonal skills are required.
- Must be able to speak, write and read in English.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment preferred.
- Able to work independently, demonstrate good personal judgment and exercise a commitment to ethical conduct is required.
- Highly motivated and outgoing demeanor to help Pipe View, LLC move forward on its goals with an emphasis on cross-departmental cooperation is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Pipe View America has a no tolerance for drug use policy.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This role requires the individual to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately. This role requires the individual to make substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers often. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; and/or extensive reading.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time in office position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full time status. Seasonally longer hours to be expected during the annual audit or other company needs.
