About this position
Student Robotics InternStudent interns will help build, wire, and test simple robotic and automated systems. Projects may include assembling mechanical components, connecting sensors, and programming small robots or automation setups. Interns will gain hands-on experience with automated designs such as wire bending systems, collaborative robots (UR robots), and other advanced manufacturing tools. They will learn how robotics systems come together and how to troubleshoot them safely in a manufacturing or lab environment.Key Responsibilities• Assemble and wire robotic and automation components • Assist with testing and troubleshooting robotic systems • Help write and test simple control programs for robots and automation equipment • Document results, build steps, and share findings with the teamRequired Skills• Interest in robotics, automation, or mechatronics • Basic programming knowledge (Python, Arduino, or similar) • Comfortable using hand tools and following build instructions • Eager to learn through hands-on projectsPreferred Skills• Experience with robotics kits or automation projects • Familiarity with collaborative robots (e.g., UR robots) or motion control systems • Understanding of mechanical design or basic CAD • Curiosity about sensors, actuators, and process automation
